Momentum Metropolitan is seeking an Application Support Analyst (ASA) to join its Momentum Life cluster in Centurion, Gauteng. This permanent role offers a hybrid work arrangement and focuses on ensuring that business-critical applications operate efficiently, meet regulatory standards, and deliver a seamless user experience. The ASA plays a pivotal role in the maintenance and support phases of the software development life cycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, implement updates, and support business continuity. The position requires strong technical, analytical, and communication skills, with a focus on operational excellence and client service.

Responsibilities

• Monitor applications to detect and resolve issues that may impact performance
• Analyze and troubleshoot problems to identify root causes and solutions
• Provide second-line technical support to end users
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, QA, and project teams to support upgrades and enhancements
• Enable tactical workarounds and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal application performance
• Maintain high-quality documentation and knowledge bases for support and training
• Ensure applications align with business specifications and minimize operational disruptions

Qualifications

• Grade 12
• Relevant Diploma or B-degree
• Four to six years of business experience
• Solid understanding of business processes, product rules, and service operations
• Proficient in Excel and SQL, with the ability to write scripts from scratch
